- One unseen prose passage (400–500 words) with 10 questions (MCQs, true/false, yes/no, inference, vocabulary) → 10 marks
Section B: Writing Skills and Grammar (30 Marks)
- Advertisements / Invitations (Formal & Informal) – 40–50 words → 4 marks
- Letter writing (business, official, editor, school authorities) – 120–150 words → 6 marks
- Resume writing + Cover Letter → 6 marks
- Composition (article / debate / speech / personality profile / personal narrative / humorous writing) – 200–250 words → 6 marks
- Editing passage (100–150 words) covering pronouns, tenses, punctuation, narration, prepositions, voice etc. (8 items) → 8 marks
